Day 14 in the Chick House
It is now for all our chicks to go home. They are going to go back to the farm where they came from. We really enjoyed having the chicks in schools and loved watching them grow. We hope they have a nice life. But we do get to keep stripe who now lives in 3M. Mrs. McCartney’s class are looking after her because she has a poorly leg.

Wow there is now 8 chicks that have hatched. RD has been very busy with visitors from other classes wanting to see all the activity. Mrs. Parker has moved some of the chicks out of incubator into a bigger house. There are 2 more eggs still not hatched. Do you think they will come tomorrow?

Wow! We’ve got our first little arrival. All of sudden this afternoon some of the children from RD noticed there was a little beak pecking its way through the shell. The children decided to call this one Harry after Mrs. Davies’ new grandson who was born on the same day. I wonder if any more will hatch tomorrow? What do you think of Harry our new chick?
